Three Notch Group, the firm formerly called CDG, is an engineering and environmental consulting company based in Andalusia, Alabama, with nine offices around the Southeast, including Auburn and Birmingham. Founded in 1946, it helps oil jobbers, fuel distributors and convenience store operators with tank compliance: automatic gauge tests, monthly and yearly site inspections, repair of corrosion protection systems, checks of line leak detectors, tightness tests, closures and reporting. The firm keeps a 24 hour spill line, investigates soil and groundwater after releases, and plans and carries out cleanups with its own drill rigs. It also offers civil, geotechnical, surveying and water engineering.
